Details: I am selling my 88 isuzu i-mark s. i got this car when i first got my license when it had 62,244 miles on it. it now has 96,353 miles on it. The car gets around 45 miles to gallon city and about 50 hwy. i am having to sell the car because i can only have 2 cars with the housing setup my dad has and i drive it the least becaus it is hard to find parts for so i just drive it to save gas. Needs front CV boot(s), Two of 4 passsenger side power windows need servicing... one just off track but stays closed, other (back) is inoperable. Slight oil leak about 1/2 qt a month possibly valve covers.Car has just under 161,000 miles, gets 19mpg city, 21mpg hwy. I put allot ino this truck to get it reliable and it hasn´t let me down since. Details: 1994 Isuzu Trooper, 5 speed manual transmission, manual transfer case, auto locking hubs, power everything, rear cargo cover, 6 disc changer, never modified. We have had this Trooper since new. It has 205k miles on the odometer and has lots of new parts. We are selling it because recently the engine developed a progressively louder knocking noise at lower rpms. When the oil pressure goes above 29psi the noise goes away and the engine runs as usual. Even during the knocking there is no noticeable difference in performance or power. This would be a perfect vehicle for the Trooper enthusiast! The Good:The transmission was replaced with a brand new unit less than 2 years ago.The rear brakes are brand new, including one caliper and rotor.The battery and alternator are brand new.The muffler and tail pipe were replaced last week4X4 works flawlessly This thing is loaded other than leather, it even has electric folding mirrors!The interior is in great shape other than a bit of wear (a hole) on the drivers seat The exterior is great other than fender bender (listed in the bad section.)The bad:Engine is knocking at low rpms with low oil pressure.There was a small fender bender on the front passenger side front corner.It needs a new home!If you are interested in the Trooper please give us a call. 828-335-8741 Guy.
