Details: Mechanic´s project: 1991 Isuzu Trooper (Blue) 4x4. Its time for me to let this bad boy go. Hes been wonderful to me and needs a mechanic´s TLC. Im $1800 deep into it and its come time for me to think smart and get a Commuter. Perfect project for those off road enthusiasts. See details below. I am looking for a fair trade for a running commuter vehicle or $800 cash only no checks. No negotiation on the price please. Respond to make arrangements to come have a look at it.Cons:Not in drivable condition.Expired registration as of February. It Smogged last year. I am confident that it will smog with Catalytic converter replacement.Rear Main Seal blown due to Flywheel mounting bolt came loose.The Flywheel mounting bolt damaged the Clutch Pad, thus it needs a clutch pad replacement.Flywheel needs to be resurfaced or replaced. The unbalance caused the mounting bolts to vibrate out.Shocks need to be replacedStruts recommended replacement.Break pads and rotors are due to be maintenanced.Engine is High mileage approximately 241k miles.Some main hoses on the vacumn system are old and cracked and need replacement. Two hoses to be exactSlow radiator leak.Two speaker sound systemFront seats have worn fabricAir Conditioning needs to be charged. Interior dome light needs to be re-wiredDriver rear wheel has a stripped stud.Missing Driver rear interior door handle.E-brake linkage needs to be replaced.Minor body dents/ scrapes. You will have to arrange a tow out of my lot. Approximately $50 by most towing companies to in town locations.Overall I estimate to get the car running and smogged approximately $400 in parts if you can do your own work. $1000 if you want to take it to a mechanic. Approximately 8 hours of labor to get this thing running and smogged.Pros:Original Engine Runs perfectly, no Idle issues and gets about 22 MPG. 4 Cylinder 2.6l Multiport Fuel injected 4ZE1. Idles at 850 RPM with no surging. Perfectly timed with Valve lash recently adjusted.Detailed estimate from my mechanic confirming the mechanical issues at this time.New Ignition components including, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, Battery, ignition coil and alternator. New fuel pump and fuel lines recently replaced.Several components of the vacuum system have been recently replaced. IAC, PCV, AFS.Recently replaced MUA-5 speed Manual transmission which had 121k miles on it.New clutch master and slave cylinder with bled and clean systemFully functioning four wheel drive with 4H and 4L option. Details: I got a 1999 isuzu hombre 2.2l it has 147,000 on it. lookin to trade for honda or somthin in that nature. would like a hatchback. rasoon for selling is just want a car this is a very reliable little truck. Its a daily driver and ive never have had a problem with it i believe im the third owner of it i got it off a family member so know were its been the past 7 year. good lil truck 30mpgnew stuff :spark plugs and wires, valve cover gasket ,fuel filter, vacume line, clutch/ got the flywheel reserficed when the clutch was done, rear main sealpretty much new tire about 500 miles give or take on them.Its has a cone filter on it recently been cleaned still have the cleaner. it has its dings and scratches but nothing major at all. no front bumber at the time but been looking for one. the gas guage doesnt work but easily fixed by dropin the tank and changing the sensor. it gets about 30 to the galon. its a good reliable truck i drive it to reno almost every 2 weeks and never have had a problem with it. it also has an pioneer deck in it with ipod cable routed to the glove box also have pioneer tweeters. this trcuk is pretty good condition besides little scrapes an mabe a couple lil dings well wright me back if interested.
