Details: The Good:Very clean. Automatic Transmission, New muffler and tail pipe. Dark brown cloth interior, no rips. good tread on tires, no chips or cracks in glass, cruise, power/heated/retractable mirrors, 4x4 works great. Back seats fold down to make a large space in back for hauling, extra storage compartment under back seats. Retractable sun roof (that works most of the time), Yakima ski rack. runs and drives great! Ready for the mountain or a trip with your dogs to the beach. The Bad:When we bought it two years ago the guy who sold it too us it swapped titles. It is now has the right title but in getting it straightened out we then learned it had been ´totaled´ and has a reconstructed title. The miles on the odometer show very low (154k) but are not accurate because the speedometer does not work all the time. It has a rattle, sometimes dies for no reason and will occasional not shift on it´s own (you have to manually sift through the gears). We were told the lack of shifting is an electrical problem.All that said, we have taken it to Utah and back and has been our daily driver for the last two years and has worked like a champ. Super clean inside, minor dent in hood, the previous owners wife had parked the troop behind her husbands jeep and the next morning he went to back out and backed into the troop going about 2mph and left a circular shaped dent from his spare tire on his jeep. No damage whatsoever to the engine from it. Other then that a few minor things: one small 4 inch dent in the back bumper, a few small tears in the driver side back seat leather on the door. a small 6 inch tear in the back drivers side seat, super super minor things, this rig is CLEAN. Fires right up every time, i am a religious vehicle warmer upper, always let her get to temp before cruising. The previous owners took it to oil can henrys for years, and I have a print out of all of the service done on the rig there. 4 wheel drive recently serviced, just for normal maintenance. On demand 4 wheel drive (button) kind of an all wheel drive option. Then of course the normal manual 4 high/4low options, even a winter button for added traction in super slick conditions. This baby is made to climb mountains. The previous owners bought her with only 11k and I am the 3rd owner and have had her since November. I love troopers and wish I could keep her, but I was bitten by the travel bug this February on an adventure to Thailand and now foresee myself traveling the winter months from here on out. The family who owned her before me were a teacher and a city council worker, took amazing care of this rig and didn´t drive her hard/4wheel her. I far prefer the gasoline engine. Much more power (345hp VS 205hp) and costs virtually the same to drive.
